Ultratig was formed in 2006. Its specific purpose is to make the keyhole GTAW process available to the wider industrial community following its incubation within CSIRO. In fact, Ultratig sees this technology as offering significant and immediate benefits for industry. Moreover, we are passionate about seeing this technology achieve its full potential, and are actively developing exciting enhancements that will, for example, result in turn-key operation of the more demanding applications, such as pipe spooling, in the near future.
Ultratig is located in the northern suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia. It has facilities for welding R&D, procedure development and metallurgical evaluation.
